I have recorded two albums of my own solo piano compositions, both recorded at Crear House on the West Coast of Scotland.
Journey - Twelve Romances for Piano is available now, and my second album Sky Blue Piano has just been released.

New music for you, and for your pupils. I have published two piano sheet music books containing all the pieces from my albums:
The books have been typeset, designed and printed by people who work for ABRSM publishing, so they are easy to read, and look and feel great. These pieces are between grade 5 and 7 standard.
Join other piano teachers in recommending this uplifting and joyful music to their pupils. To find out how to purchase, visit my website shop:

I am booking concerts around the UK and you are invited to come and experience my new piano album “Sky Blue Piano”, along with pieces from my debut recording "Journey - Twelve Romances for Piano”. Several dates for 2021 had already been arranged, so please check back for further details of these. Due to venues being closed following the Coronavirus I hope to be able to re-arrange these again soon.
British pianist and composer Adrian Lord studied at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester, and at Colchester Institute’s School of Music.
During his time at Colchester Adrian studied composition with Alan Bullard and Christopher Ball. His piano studies with Martin Hughes, and Robert Bell, led to him winning the Canon Jack award for Piano Performance.
He has spent much of his life writing short piano pieces, and performing them in regular concerts around the United Kingdom. In 2016 he released his debut album “Journey – Twelve Romances for Piano”, reflecting his inspirational journey as a composer which culminated in the recording at Crear, Western Scotland. In March Adrian released his second album “Sky Blue Piano”, a collection of new uplifting pieces.
During the Coronavirus lockdown of 2020 Adrian gave twice-weekly performances on Facebook Live, so people could watch whilst at home, with Pianist magazine describing it as a “must watch” online piano performance.
He has recently recorded some brand new pieces, which will again be released as a CD and sheet music book, due out in the first half of 2021.
Adrian finds inspiration from visiting beautiful parts of the world, especially the Scottish Islands, and the English Lake District (where to date he has climbed 113 of the 214 Wainwright fells).
